38. Oct 30, 2023. #1. Hello everyone, I recently picked up a BCM MK2 FDE 14.5" upper. I have bigger hands and the BCM handguard is a little thin for me. I was planning on putting an Aero Enhanced Gen 2 Handguard on it, but have read about compatibility issues with the MK2 upper and aftermarket handguards.

Bcm mk2 in my opinion are the best uppers. However I rather have just a stripped version than complete. But by far my favorite. Big fan of BCM, I've got several of their uppers, going back to when Paul would answer the phone himself. Purchased a blem lower (when they switched locations) from them years ago. When I picked it up, I compared the hammer markings to a LPK on the shelf. Markings were identical to the DPMS LPK on the shelf. I figured they used the same supplier.
