BurningLance 7 years ago #10. well if you go Quality then Refined is the best. since you plan to go Str for a while then Heavy is good. im doing a Dex/Luck and atm with 29 in both and Hollow infusion gives more dmg than the Sharp infusion (even if Sharp bumps dex scaling to B) which is very good for Estocs.

Estoc is one of those weapons that shines specifically against human enemies, because of its reach and poking. Against normal enemies, however (specially poise mobs) it sucks ass. It's kinda the oposite of RKPGS, which rocks many enemies but sucks vs a competent player. 1.Id say Estoc simply because it has a better moveset IMO. I recommend never stopping at 20 str...I prefer the Estoc's longer range over the Rapier's extra damage (Estoc also looks cooler). The long reach also helps when I feel like attacking from behind a shield at a safer distance.
