1-2 rest days are considered a minimum for most people. Our recommendations depend on which training goals you have, and your personal recovery needs. How much recovery you need from lifting weights, depends on your training level. Beginners can take 4-5 rest days, intermediates 2-4, while advanced lifters can take 0-3.
